Fuel Crunch!
A fuel crunch in 1983 has a line of engines stored outside of the car shop at Johnston Yard. Another factor might also be that by this time, the ICG had abandoned numerous lines in Mississippi, which also reduced the amount of engines they needed. The car shop was torn down in June of 2009. From the collection of Fred Goff.
