| Its hard to believe that there were 5 tracks a several rail customers right here at one time. The tracks were removed through downtown Oxford because the city paid Pioneer big money for their 3 miles of track here to construct a new road through the Ole Miss campus. Picture taken from the University Ave. bridge looking north just a few days before track removal began. I also have a picture taken from the bridge at just about the same angle from the 1960's.
